It’s that time of year again! From Thursday, April 10 to Sunday, April 13 is Fort Worth’s Main Street Arts Festival, a showcase of art, food, live music and fun! Admission to the festival is free. Here are just a few of the things to look out for during this year’s festival:
The festival’s official guide – download it here so you’ll know what vendors are where.
Kids’ Activities – two entire city blocks are dedicated to MAIN ST. Creates!, featuring a rock climbing wall, balloon designing, ceramic tile painting, sand art and more. Some of these activities come with a cost; check out the kids’ activity web page for more info.
Food and Drink – you can get pretty much any kind of cuisine you can think of at this year’s festival. See a list of food vendors here.
Bring Your Own Water Bottle – forget disposables. The Tarrant Regional Water District is sponsoring water refill stations throughout the festival, so you can fill up for free. Bring one from home, or buy a commemorative aluminum bottle for 9 coupons.
Ride a Bike to the Festival – there are 14 bike-sharing stations by Fort Worth Bcycle located within walking distance of the festival. You can use the promo code 76102 at any station to get half-price access to the system ($4) on the day of the festival.
Buy Coupons – all food and beverage purchases, plus other activities, are done through coupons instead of cash. Buy yours online ahead of time and avoid the wait in line.
