Come to your local IHOP tomorrow, March 3, for their National Pancake Day celebration. On this day, everyone can get a short stack of pancakes absolutely free. In return for the pancakes, guests are asked to consider making a donation to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. My kids and I usually hit up IHOP in the afternoon during this celebration and donate about $8-10 – they have fun and it’s super cheap!Subscribe to FW on the Cheap by e-mail and become a fan on Facebook.
On Thursday, March 5 from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., CrossFit Chisholm Trail will host Dude Crew, a “membership-free monthly meet up for dudes dedicated to exploring and enjoying our active community of Fort Worth.” Though the title says “dudes,” they say “dudettes” are welcome too. There’s no description of the particular workout that will be done, but since it’s at a CrossFit facility, you should probably get ready for some WOD goodness. Afterwards, members will meet at Lone Star Oyster Bar next door for a post-workout meal (on your own dime).
CrossFit Chisholm Trail is at 474 Bryant Irvin Rd, Suite 934 in Fort Worth.Subscribe to FW on the Cheap by e-mail and become a fan on Facebook.
