Save on Tea Room Fare in DFW

Category : dining, Featured, food

Burgers and fries make for an okay lunch, but every once in a while you want something different – soups, maybe, or quiche; perhaps a salad. Solution: Try a tea room. The DFW area has several tearoom-themed restaurants, where you can eat in style and sip on gourmet teas (hot tea sounds lovely in this newly-chilly weather!). Here are some ways to save on tea room meals:

KGB Deals – pay just $13 for $30 in food and drinks at Coco’s Tea Room & Bistro. Located in Colleyville, this restaurant serves up po-boys, gumbo soup, quiche, red velvet cake, and of course, dozens of white, black and green teas. Dine in only; use by Feb. 18.

Eversave – pay $10 for $20 in food, tea and sweets at Mitra’s Tearoom. Mitra’s Tearoom is located within the Antique Outlet in Hurst. Come in, do a little shopping, and then go for lunch. Their chicken salad with almond and cranberry sounds awesome! Use by May 17, 2012. Only valid for lunch.
