DFW Free Day of Yoga Events This Weekend

Category : Arlington, entertainment, family, Featured, fitness, free

Monday, Sept. 7 is DFW Free Day of Yoga, an annual event that allows local residents to try area yoga studios for free! Whether you’re looking to start a yoga practice or try a new style of yoga, this is a fun event. To participate, simply find a participating yoga studio in your area and show up. Each studio should list instructions for what to bring – some may provide yoga mats, while others ask that you bring your own. Get there early, since these free classes tend to be popular. Nearby participating studios include 3Tree Yoga, The Wellness Center and Urban Yoga, all in Fort Worth; and Bikram Yoga North Texas, with locations in Arlington and Grapevine.

You can also come out to the Fort Worth Water Gardens on Sunday, Sept. 6 for the Fort Worth kickoff of DFW Free Day of Yoga. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., you can participate in free mini yoga classes, be part of a big community yoga class, and listen to live music. There’s also a Dallas kickoff on Saturday, Sept. 5.
