The Texas Scottish Festival & Highland Games is always a popular event around DFW – and today, you can pop over to Groupon and get half off an admission package for two or four people. You have two options to pick from:

$12 for admission for two and 2 complimentary beers or nonalcoholic beverages – a $24 value
$20 for admission for 4 and 4 complimentary beers or nonalcoholic beverages – a $48 value

Both of these packages are only good for admission on Friday, May 3 or Sunday, May 5 – Saturday admission isn’t included. The Texas Scottish Festival & Highland Games will be at Maverick Stadium in Arlington.

I’m hungry today, so this deal from LivingSocial sounds great to me: $20 for $40 in Mexican cuisine from Chalios Mexican Restaurant. Fresh is the name of the game at this spot on N. Main in Fort Worth, with lots of grilled dishes and a cocktail de camarones, which boasts fresh shrimp and avocado served with a spicy cocktail sauce.

The $20 for $40 deal is only valid on Saturday and Sunday. If you want to come on a weekday, buy their $15 for $30 deal. You’ll have until Aug. 24 to use the voucher.
