Free Comic Book Day This Saturday

If you love comics, then you’ll want to participate in Free Comic Book Day, an annual event at which comic book shops across the United States give away comic books absolutely free to anyone who comes in their stores. Lots of comic book shops in DFW are participating, such as Y2Komics in Fort Worth and Lone Star Comics. See here for a full list of participating stores.

Note that each shop also runs the promo a little differently, so definitely ask for details before you go if you’re hoping to get a specific comic for free. The shop may also limit the number of comic books you can choose from.

Comic lovers, rejoice – May 1 is Free Comic Book Day, an event where comic-book retailers across the United States will give away comic books. Note that you may not be able to pick out what type or how many comic books you’ll get – every store has its own rules. But regardless, they’ll be free. Visit this link to find participating retailers in DFW. Here’s a partial list:
