Be sure to come out to Sundance Square this Saturday, Nov. 5 starting at 9 p.m. – the Freixenet Tastings & Tapas Truck will be parked there to give away free samples of their sparkling wine and free Spanish-style tapas. You can learn about Freixenet’s “black bottle bubbly,” too, and win prizes! They’ll be there until 1 a.m. According to the information I received, they will be parked on East 3rd Street between Commerce and Main (not too far from 8.0 Restaurant).

On Thursday, April 28, Jamba Juice stores across the United States will debut their new Jamba Energy Drink – and if you’re prompt, you can try it for free! The first 100 customers at each participating Jamba location will receive a free can of Jamba Energy Drink. The company says: “Made with real fruit and natural caffeine, they’re all-natural, lightly carbonated, and extremely delicious.”

Come to the Fort Worth Flying Saucer this Sunday, Dec. 19, for their Beerknurd Holiday Party. It’s from 1-4 p.m. in Half Acre Hall, the cigar room upstairs. Partygoers can enjoy a complimentary pint of beer, along with appetizers. You’ll also receive a raffle ticket that you can use to enter a drawing for cool brewery swag. Live music starts on the patio at 8 p.m.

Play Einstein Bros. Bagels‘ “Warm Up, Be Cool” instant-win game and you could win a Sandals Resort vacation or a ski trip to Steamboat Springs. There are only a handful of those prizes, but everyone who plays receives a coupon for a free fountain drink. I’ve played two days in a row and received the drink coupon each time. There’s a picture of a cup of coffee on the coupon too, so perhaps this could be used for coffee as well.
On the first page of the game, it will ask you for a game code from an Einstein Bros. cup; if you don’t have one, use the code 7D9XGHNN43X7 to play; you can use this code as many times as you like, limit of once per day. The coupon I got today expires Dec. 24.
