If you’re looking to shake up your fitness routine, you’ll want to take advantage of this offer: The YogaMonth card. In honor of National Yoga Month, many studios are offering to let new students take a week of yoga classes, absolutely free. Get started here. All you do is enter your info, search for a studio, and print your card. Once you sign up, you have until Oct. 31 to redeem the coupon.

Unfortunately, no Fort Worth studios are participating, but there are several within a few minutes’ drive. They are:

DFW Free Day of Yoga

Mark your calendar for Monday, Sept. 6 – that’s DFW Free Day of Yoga, when many yoga studios around the DFW area will be offering classes for free. Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or just want to learn more about the practice, you can participate.

The studios on the west side of the Metroplex that will be participating are:

Indigo Yoga, Fort Worth (classes fill fast, so reserving via their website is recommended)

Moving Arts Studio at Artisan MedSpa, Fort Worth

Free Movie Thursdays at Firewheel Town Center

If you’re on the eastern side of the Metroplex, stop by Firewheel Town Center in Garland on Thursday, May 27 – that’s the first day of their “Movies Under the Stars” program. Through June 24, the shopping center will show a free outdoor movie, on a big screen, every Thursday night in their park area. Showings begin at dusk. Yoga sessions provided by Yoga Synergy Spa & Wellness Center will begin at 7:30 p.m., just before the movie.

June 10: Ghosts of Girlfriends Past
June 17: Julie & Julia
June 24: My Big Fat Greek Wedding
