Live on the Green – stop by Watters Creek shopping center in Allen at 6:30 p.m. to hear an eclectic assortment of five local bands. Free. You can bring blankets, but no lawn chairs.
See BODIES tax-free - BODIES: The Exhibition will be offering an 8.25 percent admission discount this weekend in honor of tax-free weekend. The show is at West End Marketplace in Dallas. Tickets for adults are normally $24.

Auditions for Kids who Care – if your little one is a budding thespian, bring them to the Scott Theatre in FW (1300 Gendy St.) to audition for the theatre’s Kids Who Care acting troupe. Be there at 9 a.m. to sign up for an afernoon vocal/monologue audition. An information session happens at 10 a.m.
Shop Til You Rock - this free music-inspired mall tour will stop at Hulen Mall from 1-6, and features a performance by Don’t Shoot the Messenger. See www.shoptilyourock.com for info.

Stop in to your local Pinkberry from 5-9 p.m. on March 12 and receive a free mini Mango Pinkberry frozen yogurt with toppings. It’s part of their “Mad About Mango Happy Hour” event, to introduce their new mango flavor. While you’re there, you can also compete in trivia games to win gift cards and prizes.

In DFW, you can find Pinkberry at 5959 Royal Ln. and 3839 McKinney Ave., both in Dallas. A Pinkberry is also slated to arrive in Arlington on March 26.

Coffee lovers, your day has come…every Monday in March, that is. That’s the day of the week that DFW-area Dunkin Donuts stores will be giving away free medium iced or hot coffees all day. You can get a free one every Monday through March 29.

Edit March 15, 2010: I received a tweet from the Dunkin folks informing me that only certain locations are participating in the free coffee promo. So I called around to a few. Here are the ones that have confirmed participation so far:

3216 E. Hebron Pkwy., Carrollton

I have not had any locations tell me that they were NOT participating, but I haven’t had time to call all of them. Many did not answer when I called. If you plan on visiting any location except the 3 mentioned above, it might be wise to call ahead.

Free Olay Body Wash at Target

If you read lots of other couponing blogs, you’ve probably already heard about this one, but just in case you haven’t: There is a way to get free Olay body wash with a deal they have going on at Target. Here is how to take advantage of it:

1. Go to Target and find the Olay body washes. Pick up three of any of these kinds of body washes: The 8.4-oz Olay Total Effects Body Wash or any of the “bonus packs” of body wash. Bonus packs are the ones that have a small sample of another Olay product taped to them. They should be $5.50 apiece. Scan them at the price checker thingy to verify this. (Don’t get any of the non-Total Effects body washes that are not bonus packs. They won’t work for this deal.)

2. Go up to the front and check out. After all 3 body washes have been scanned, the register should tell the cashier to give you a $5 Target gift card on the spot. (If you didn’t see a sign advertising the gift card, that’s OK – this is an unadvertised deal.)

3. Hand the cashier three coupons for $1 off any Olay body wash. These came from the 2/14/10 Red Plum coupon insert. (Don’t have the coupons, or don’t have three? That’s fine. You will still get your body washes free, but your profit won’t be as large.)

4. Put your receipt somewhere safe.

5. Take your receipt home and fill out this rebate form to receive $15 back by mail for buying 3 Olay products. You must postmark all rebate materials by March 26.

In the end, you will have made a $6.50 profit on the body washes, counting the value of the Target gift card and rebate, if you had 3 of the $1 off coupons. If you didn’t have any coupons, you will still have profited $3.50, counting the gift card value and rebate.

Don’t delay getting this done. To qualify for the $15 rebate, you will have to make your purchases by March 12. The $5 Target gift card deal on the body washes ends March 27.
