However, those in the know can attend their soft opening on Monday, July 25. That day, the restaurant will hold a fundraiser for GRACE, a Grapevine charity. Come to Freebirds from either 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 5 to 7 p.m. on July 25 and you can get a free entree and drink with a $5 donation to Grace. This offer will only be available to the first 250 to show up, so arrive promptly!

Freebirds is best-known for their burritos, but if you’re on the lookout for a cheap lunch, you can stop in with a special coupon Monday through Wednesday and get a free taco. Just “like” them on their Facebook page and click the “coupon” tab to print yours. Be ready to print right away, since the website won’t let you try again once you’ve downloaded the coupon. No additional purchase is necessary to redeem the coupon. Today, July 28, is the last day to get the free taco for this week; they’ll be running the special again next week (I think).

Check out today’s Dallas Groupon – pay just $5 and get $10 worth of food at Freebirds World Burrito. The greatest thing about this deal is that it is also good at the Freebirds locations in Fort Worth (4965 Overton Ridge and 9501 Sage Meadow Trail). It’s also good at the Arlington Highlands location and multiple Dallas locations. Burritos start at just under $5, so you could feasibly buy lunch for two with this Groupon.
