It’s almost May, and you know what that means – it’s time for Mayfest, Fort Worth’s annual family fun event. The festival started yesterday, and will continue until Sunday, May 2. Regular price tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for kids 6-12, and free for kids under 6. However, you can get $2 off each ticket when you buy online and use the promo code LITE.
Planned events at Mayfest include duck races, catch & release fishing tanks for kids, live music, craft and art booths, teen activities and more. For complete info visit www.mayfest.org. It all takes place at Trinity Park. On Friday, the festival lasts till 10 p.m. On Saturday, hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and on Sunday it’s from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m.
On May 2, the last day of the fest, active, retired and reserve military can show their IDs for free admittance.
