Celtic Music in White Settlement

St. Patrick’s Day is almost here! Get in the spirit by coming to the White Settlement Historical Museum on Saturday, March 17 from 10 a.m. to noon for a 2-hour set of old-time Celtic and American fiddle and guitar music performed by Mike Sonntag and Gary Augustine. Admission is free! The museum will be open 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Best Maid Pickle Parade in Mansfield

Forget the raucous St. Patrick’s parade in Dallas – come out to Mansfield on Saturday, March 17 for the Best Maid St. Paddy’s Pickle Parade. The family-friendly parade, which begins at 2 p.m., will run down Mansfield’s Main Street, ending at Steven’s Garden & Grill. See a map of the parade route here. At 3 p.m., meet other parade-goers at Steven’s for live music, games, green beer, pickles and good ol’ Irish fun, which will run well into the evening. Arrive on the parade route early for a prime viewing spot!

If you really want to make a day of it, come out to Mansfield’s Farr Best Theater at 11 a.m. on March 17 for a free showing of “The Quiet Man,” starring John Wayne and Maureen O’Hara.
