How to use public transit to get to the fair from Fort Worth
Forget parking at the fair! It’s much easier to use the public transit lines in Dallas and Fort Worth to get to the State Fair of Texas. Hop aboard the Trinity Railway Express and ride it to Victory Station, then transfer to DART’s Green Line. A TRE day pass from downtown Fort Worth to Victory Station will cost you $10 for an adult, or $2 for kids ages 5-14. See info on TRE fare zones here. A day pass for DART will be $4 each. See DART fare info here. Remember that the fair does offer a checkroom for you to store your things, if you plan to buy (or win!) a lot of stuff.
If you’re coming from Lewisville, Highland Village, Carrollton or Denton, you can ride the DCTA A-Train and connect to DART’s Green Line at the DART Trinity Mills Station.
