Friday, Dec. 5:
Texas Christkindl Market – noon to 9 p.m., Globe Life Park in Arlington. Texas Christkindl Market is an enchanting Christmas market in the spirit of markets held throughout Germany during the holiday season. Features Texas-German cuisine, like brats, goulash, potato pancakes, gingerbread, baked goods, Gluhwein and German beers. And of course plenty of live entertainment and shopping! Free admission.
Mansfield Hometown Holidays – 5-9 p.m., Mansfield City Hall. Enjoy activities including a snow hill, entertainment, kids’ activities, tree lighting, fireworks and an appearance by Santa.
Santa’s Wonderland at Bass Pro Shops- ongoing event at the store in Grapevine; see details here.
Keller Holly Days – 6 p.m., Keller Town Center; see details here.
Colleyville Christmas Tree Lighting - 5:30 p.m., City Hall. Join the mayor and City Council for the lighting countdown and holiday carols. After the tree is lit, the celebration continues next door at the library for lots of reindeer games, carriage rides, treats and refreshments, and free photos with Santa.

Christmas in the Stockyards – 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., FW Stockyards. Free holiday event includes games and fun with Radio Disney, Cowboy Santa pictures (bring your own camera), holiday face painting, and a Christmas parade at 4 p.m.
Lewisville Holiday Stroll - 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Old Town Lewisville. Christmas parade at 2 p.m., breakfast with Santa event at 8 a.m. and more. See details here.
Victorian Christmas- 3-6 p.m., Nash Farm in Grapevine. Visitors will be led by docents through the farmhouse and the farm to experience how Grapevine’s earliest settlers celebrated Christmas in Texas during the latter part of the 19th Century. Tours will be led from the pole barn, where visitors can enjoy hot cider and cookies, to the front door of the farmhouse, through the parlor, bedroom, dining room and kitchen, then outside by the burning yule log and back to the pole barn. Free.

Coppell Holiday Celebration – Lighted holiday parade begins at 6:30 p.m. Begins at Parkway and Samuel, and travels westward to Town Center Blvd., just west of City Hall.  Immediately after the parade, visit Town Center Plaza for a tree lighting ceremony. Stick around the Plaza for the tree lighting ceremony, musical performances, refreshments and, of course, Santa Claus! Free.
Grapevine Twinkle Light Boat Parade – 6-9 p.m., Lake Grapevine. This is one of the most unique Christmas parades you will ever see! You will find water crafts decorated in all of the finest sparkling lights to celebrate the season. This floating festival begins at Twin Coves Marina and picks up entries at each marina including Scott’s Landing and Silver Lake. Free.
Benbrook Christmas Tree Lighting – 7 p.m., Benbrook YMCA. Tree lighting and fireworks show. Donations of money or non-perishable food items will be accepted at the park entrance. All proceeds benefit the annual Benbrook Firefighter Food Drive. Immediately following the Christmas Tree Lighting and Fireworks Show, the annual Benbrook Winter Wonderland display lights up Dutch Branch Park with twinkling lighted holiday characters and merriment. Stroll the park and enjoy this free holiday exhibit each evening through New Year’s Day.
Burleson Christmas Tree Lighting & Fireworks Show – 6 to 8:30 p.m., Old Town Burleson. Parade of lights departs Kerr Middle School at 6 p.m. and travels to corner of Johnson Avenue and Ellison St. Christmas tree lighting at 7 p.m. followed by fireworks show set to holiday music. After the tree lighting, Santa will head to his sleigh to listen to Christmas wishes. Free.
Euless Christmas Parade of Lights – 6:30 p.m. Parade begins at Midway Dr/Industrial Blvd, travels east on Midway and ends at Euless Family Life Center. Theme is “A Patriotic Christmas.” Free.
Mansfield Hometown Holidays – various activities, including a 5K at 9 a.m. and Christmas parade at 2:30 p.m.
Weatherford Christmas Parade – 10 a.m. Begins at Ninth Grade Center and travels around the Courthouse in downtown Weatherford. Free.
Weatherford Christmas on the Square – noon to 5 p.m., Weatherford courthouse square. Enjoy this FREE event hosted in beautiful, downtown Weatherford. Santa and holiday characters, ice sculpting, live reindeer, carriage rides and a classic car show! Stroll the historic downtown while visiting the local merchants as well as vendors. There will be live entertainment and children’s activities.
Haltom City Christmas on Broadway – 3-6 p.m., Haltom City rec center/Broadway Park. The free event will feature carriage and train rides, a climbing wall, crafts and games, a petting zoo, bounce houses and, of course, Santa and Mrs. Claus. Free.
Azle Christmas Celebration – tree lighting at 5 p.m. followed by parade. Refreshments, kids’ activities and appearance by Santa at 404 Main St.
Haslet Christmas Tree Lighting – 6-8 p.m., Haslet Fire Station. Santa will be on hand for pictures. Free.
Christmas Tyme in Aledo - arts and crafts fair from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Aledo Community Center; nighttime celebration begins at 5 p.m. with the local store front businesses staying open late providing activities and refreshments. Free.

Sunday, Dec. 7:
Holiday Symphony for Kids - 1-2 p.m., Hulen Mall. Southwestern Adventist University Wind Symphony has prepared a Concert with many light traditional holiday numbers, especially those that kids would enjoy such as “Sleigh Ride,” “Calypso Christmas” (tunes from south of the border), “Highlights from How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” and so on. Free.
